6.4/10

I recently visited this hotel for a family getaway, and while it has great pools and is a good escape from city life, the experience fell short due to various issues. The rooms are decent but could use more attention to detail, and the service was hit-or-miss which made our stay less enjoyable. Overall, it has potential, but there are definitely areas that need improvement.

Rooms
6.0
We stayed in a family suite that offered good space, but the noise level was a concern, especially late at night. The view of the lake was beautiful, but other guests were quite loud.
Service
5.0
The service was okay but felt a bit overwhelmed during peak check-in times. The front desk staff didn't seem very engaged, which left us feeling somewhat neglected even though they were polite.
Location
8.0
The hotel is situated right by the lake, which adds a nice touch and makes for a pleasant escape from daily life. It's conveniently located, close to key attractions.
Dining
7.0
We ordered room service, which was surprisingly quick and tasted great, but overall, I found the dining options somewhat limited and on the expensive side.
Facilities
6.0
The pools were a highlight and provided a lot of fun for families, but the indoor pool lacked enforcement on noise levels, which detracted from the relaxing atmosphere it promised.

I had a mixed experience at this hotel. While the location is stunning, and the dining options at the restaurant were a highlight, I faced significant issues with cleanliness and the room's comfort. The staff was friendly and accommodating, which I appreciated, but some areas definitely need attention to enhance the guest experience.

Rooms
5.0
Unfortunately, the room I stayed in felt a bit outdated and uncomfortable. There was dust visible in several areas, and I was shocked to find no proper blanket on the bed. It certainly needs a remodel to bring it up to par.
Service
7.0
The staff here were very friendly and welcoming, doing their best to ensure a smooth experience during check-in and throughout my stay. However, there were moments when they seemed overwhelmed, which affected their service speed.
Location
9.0
The hotel is located in a beautiful area, overlooking the lake, which adds a wonderful ambiance. I love the number of hot spring pools available for relaxation despite the slight musty smell in some areas.
Dining
9.0
Dining at the Lakeside Restaurant was a treat, especially the breakfast, which offered a variety of delicious options. I did find the Christmas dinner menu absolutely fabulous, enhancing our family celebration.
Facilities
8.0
The hot springs pools are a real draw and well-maintained, providing a relaxing atmosphere. Although the facilities add charm, like the older hotel ambiance, some renovations would greatly improve the overall experience.

5.0/10

My stay at the hotel was disappointing overall. The rooms in the heritage section were in poor condition, which made my experience quite uncomfortable. While the staff did try to accommodate us after issues arose, the attitude from some employees was off-putting. The location has potential, but the amenities did not meet expectations, and I certainly felt the price was steep for what we received.

Rooms
5.0
The room we were initially given was absolutely gross. It was outdated and uncomfortable, with stains on the carpet and dirty sheets. I would rate the room a 2 out of 10.
Service
5.0
While some staff were polite and helpful, we encountered rude service, especially at the bar and dining area. It was disappointing considering the price we paid. I would rate the service a 4 out of 10.
Location
6.0
The hotel's location is lovely and perfect if the weather cooperates, but it doesn't make up for the overall experience. I'd rate the location a 6 out of 10.
Dining
5.0
The dining options were quite overpriced and the service left much to be desired. I'd give dining a rating of 5 out of 10.
Facilities
5.0
The facilities felt dated, and the pools were not as inviting as they should have been. I'd rate the facilities a 5 out of 10.

My recent stay at the resort was a mix of great moments and some disappointments. We loved the beautiful views and the festive decorations, but had a less-than-ideal experience with the room condition and crowded facilities. The dining experience was enjoyable, especially with the included breakfast, though I wish there were more options. Overall, the resort offers a lovely getaway but could improve certain aspects to enhance the experience.

Rooms
6.0
The room had some cleanliness issues with dust on surfaces, which was disappointing, but the view of the lake was fantastic.
Service
8.0
The staff were accommodating and friendly, handling our concerns with care, which made our experience better.
Location
9.0
The resort's location right by Harrison Lake is idyllic, making for a perfect nature backdrop, surrounded by mountains.
Dining
7.0
The dining experience at the Lakeside Cafe for breakfast was satisfying, but a wider selection would have been nice.
Facilities
7.0
The hot springs pools were enjoyable, though we found them a bit crowded during our visit.

5.4/10

Our stay was quite disappointing as the resort has lost much of its charm and hospitality. While the hot springs and breakfast service were enjoyable, the overall experience was marred by outdated rooms and poor service. It felt like a struggle to get basic amenities and the value for money just wasn't there, especially given the high prices.

Rooms
5.0
The rooms were tired and cramped, lacking air conditioning and basic amenities like fridges or microwaves. It was disappointing considering the price we paid.
Service
5.0
Service was lackluster, with long wait times at check-in and staff seeming overwhelmed. It felt like we weren't valued as guests.
Location
8.0
The location is great, right by the hot springs and the lake. It's a wonderful spot for relaxation, which was one of the few positives.
Dining
7.0
Dining at the resort had its highlights, especially the breakfast buffet that offered good service and variety. However, the value felt lacking.
Facilities
5.0
Facilities like the hot springs were enjoyable, but overall the resort felt dated and in need of upgrades.
